SUMMER BLAST 2008 MARKS A MEMORABLE NIGHT FOR THE RETURN OF S.A.W

6 to 7 PM: Grindin Gears rocked the house real good with thier great lineup of music and proved the fans of Louisa why they area good up and coming band to be reckond with.

WJMA 103.1's Frank Wells opens the show honoring Mr. Big Stuff (along with brother Fatty McNasty)for all his efforts in the town of Louisa to provide pro wrestling to the community. Out comes Spencer Chesnutt with his crew ("Jersey" Nick Richards, Eddie Diamond, Jeff Early, Chris Dramin, Chris Sharpe, and "Vindicator" Mike Vaughn) to interupt the festivities. A few words are exchanged and the guys gang up on Big Stuff and Fatty until the local favorties of The New Urban Militia and Robert Royal come in to make the save. Royal gets on the mic and lays down the challenge for a 5 on 5 match for later in the night (which would bring Mr. Big Stuff out of retirement since the horrible car crash back in 2001). Out comes co-commissioner Storm Davis to make the match official. He orders everyone to leave the ring except for Robert Royal and Mike Vaughn. He orders that Mike Vaughn will not retire with the TV title tonight and has to defend the title against hometown favorite Robert Royal. Royal quickly turns down the offer as he wants to team with the others for the 5 on 5 match. Royal then states he has a suitable replacement for him though and brings out the guy Vaughn scrwed over for the title over a year ago..."The Boogie Woogie Man" Rob McBride. First off vaughn refuses to wrestle him but McBride offers to put his title on the line against his title so Vaughn accepts and this leads into match one.

1. CWF Mid Atlantic Champion "Boogie Woogie Man" Rob McBride defeated "Vindicator" Mike Vaughn (w/Spencer Chesnutt) to win the SAW TV Title in a title vs. title matchup. Good solid opener and had the crowd going pretty good. Boogie goes for the roll up at the end but vaughn holds onto manager Spencer Chesnutt which leads the ref to kick thier hands apart and McBride gets the pinfall to win the championship.

2. Horrorshow defeated Kamikaze Kid in a good fast paced matchup that saw thier feud continue over from Richmond Lucha Libre over to SAW now. Both guys put on a great effort trying to outdo one another. Definitely we have not seen the last of this feud.

3. Logan Knight defeated Ace Montana in a "Badstreet Challenge" match as Logan Knight is looking for new members of a trio he is looking to form. Ace Montana put on a very good outing in this match and almost put out the "Lone Wolf" in this contest.

4. Louisa Lions (Robert Royal & Fatty McNasty & Mr. Big Stuff & New Urban Militia of Danny Waylon & Justis Duvall) defeated Spencer's Stallions (Chris Dramin & Chris Sharpe & Jefferson Early & Eddie Diamond & Nick Richards).......A lot of back and forth action in this match that saw the tides turn numerous times for both sides. Clearly the crowd was behind the locals in this contest. Spencers Stallions put alot of beat down on Robert Royal near the end of the match but in the end it was Justis Duvall scoring the pin on "Jersey" Nick Richards to win the match for thier team. Big Stuff gets Spencer in the ring at the end and all memebers deliver a beat down on poor ol Spencer Chesnutt.

5. Dylan Eaton defeated Da Gift in a very short match that seen the rise Dylan Eaton will have in the SAW ranks. Da Gift put on a good effort but in the end it was Dylan Eaton scoring the victory.

6. Brandon Day defeated Grail in an opening round match of the SAW Heavyweight Title Tournament.........Very good opening round match of the toutnament. Both gave it 150% in this match. Grail has really come into his own and had been on a good run as of late in NWA VA. Brandon Day though is hungry and wants to be the top dog in SAW. He proved it tonight with a victory in his quest to become the first SAW Heavyweight Champion.

7. J-Sinn (w/ Sunny) defeated Phil Brown (w/ Baby Doll) in an opening round match of the SAW Heavyweight Title Tournament........This marked the first ever show down between Sunny and Baby Doll ever and one of the many meeting between J-Sinn and Phil Brown, who never fail to disapoint the fans with thier hard work every time. Easily Sunny had her man J-Sinn more ready than Baby Doll had Phil Brown prepared going into this match. In the end seen J-Sinn score the win to go on and face Brandon Day on October 4th in Penn Laird, VA at "REALITY RUMBLE". After the match Baby Doll threw a tantrum over her man losing and even threw a tantrum backstage that seen Baby Doll having to be escorted out of the building and susupended indefinitely from South Atlantic Wrestling.

8. Q-Sic defeated Manny Fernandez via DQ..........Very good match between these 2 guys. "The Raging Bull" was out for revenge and got it pretty much in this contest. Some good action on the outside of the ring but in the end it was Brandon Day who ran in to beat down on Q Sic to try and put him out of the SAW Title Tournament. It appears Brandon Day is in co hoots with "The Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez to take out the highly popular Q Sic.

9. Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey) with Jim Cornette defeated the Old School Empire (Damien Wayne & Mike Booth) with Neil Sharkey..........Finally the match that has been in the making for 3 years finally happened here in Louisa. Neil went on to insult Jim Cornette before the match but Jim got his revenge during the match both verbally and almost physically. Both teams put on great efforts and at points it looked like the OSE might win the match. The Midnights proved to be too much for them in the end and this led to a foreign object being used to help The OSE get the apparent win in the match. Well the ref seen the object a restarted the matchup which led to the famous tennis racket being used by the Midnights to score the victory and thus leading the theory that Jim Cornette can outsmart Neil Sharkey any day of the week.Br>

THE RETURN OF THE BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE MAKES HISTORY ALL OVER AGAIN
Saturday February 24, 2007...National Guard Armory
Ahoskie, NC

ESTIMATED ATTENDANCE: 200+

Match 1: Chris Escobar d. J-Sinn w/Malicious
Escobar took a nasty hit to both his legs when doing an asai moonsault to the outside but managed to hold on to secure the win over J-Sinn.

Macth 2: Totally Awesome w/Neil Sharkey d. Revelations (6D6 and Brandon Day) in a great tag team matchup.
Both teams give it thier all but it was Totally Awesome pulling out the victory in the end.

Match 3:
SAW TV Title Tournament ...Round 1 Ace Montana d. "Bad Dog" Mike Thomas w/Pastor Ray Rouse in a grueling matchup. Both guys brawled it out but in the end Ace Montana picks up the win via DQ when Bad Dog uses the chain and then proceeds to hang Ace Montana with the chain until a couple guys come out to make save.

Match 4: "Ultra Dragon" Rian Andrews d. Rex Sterling in what could possibly be a "Match of The Year" candidate. Very awesome match between these 2 and I believe this a start to one of the biggest feuds that the Mid Atlantic can see in quite time as far as high flying action in concerned.

Match 5: SAW TV Title Tournament....Round 1 "Vindicator" Mike Vaughnw/Neil Sharkey d. "Lone Wolf" Logan Knight in a very good matchup. These 2 have always give it thier all in every match against one another. "Vindicator" Mike Vaughn looks pretty sharpe under the tuteledge of Neil Sharkey.

Match 6: SPW Heavyweight Title Match
"Wrestling's MVP" Sean Denny d. The Horror Show to retain the SPW Heavyweight Title....Very good match for thier 1st time singles meeting. Sean Denny has proven he is a fighting as well as traveling champion. Horror Show is proving more and more why he is the most hated in the Mid Atlantic area.

Match 7: The Old School Empire w/Big Lou and Pharoah w/ Timmy Danger d. Rob "The Boogie Woogie" Man McBride, Tank Lawson, and Q Sic w/Kameo after a wicked chair shot from one of the OSE to Q Sic to give Pharoah the pin. Very entertaining old school style matchup and I believe this is the start for things to come between OSE and McBride/Lawson as they are the current AWA Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions and OSE is wanting a title shot with the champs. Also Q Sic and Pharoah looks to be getting ready top heat up.

Match 8: CWA Heavyweight Title Match
"Texas Lightning" Bobby Houston d. "Latin Sensation" Chris DeSales to reatain the title. Originally scheduled opponent KC McKnight could not make it due to a incident earlier in the week where he was injured so he sent Chris deSales in to take his place in this match. Very good back and forth match between these 2 and in the end Bobby Houston held off the challenge of DeSales to score the victory and retain the title.

MAIN EVENT: THE BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE
Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride outlasted 20 something others to become the new 'Bull Of The Woods" as he won the 4th annunal BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE and is the first person to hold the boot since 1988. It was a huge night for the 21 year veteran McBride as he rightfully deserved this. He was known as "The Bull" before he became "The Boogie Woogie Man" when Jimmy Valiant passed down the torch to him, now he is known as "THE BULL OF THE WOODS"...."THE KING OF THE BUNKHOUSE"...."THE BOOGIE WOOGE MAN" Rob McBride. Congraulations to Rob McBride on his win of the bronze boot and he will be defending his title this coming November as we will be doing the 6th annual Bunkhouse Stampede back in North Carolina. Organizations will come together once again to make this event a reality.

We want to thank CWF Mid Atlantic...Pro Wrestling Mid Atlantic...NWA Southern Pro Wrestling....Storm Force Wrestling....Carolina Wrestling Association for thier effort in being a part of this history making event

SAW "WRESTLING SUMMER SPECTACULAR" A HUGE SUCCESS!!!!
News and notes form July 22nd Hopewell Community Center show.

July 23rd,2006
The show opens with "The Manager of Champion's" Neil Sharkey SINGING “The National Anthem” due to the music guy forgetting it…lol. I heard it was a 5 star studded performance. Neil is the ring announcer for the night and is in his usual annoying state of mind. Anyhow we get the show kicked off.

Grail d. Jeff Early in a decent opener that saw Jeff Early severely dislocate his hand and will need surgery on Monday. Jeff continued on with the match and afterwards was recruited by “Manager of Champion’s” Neil Sharkey to join his stable. Jeff accepts and will now be under the tuteledge of Mr. Sharkey once returning to SAW.

“The Sicilian Wrecking Machine” Big Tony w/ Timmy Danger d. “King of Controversy” Robert Royal when Shorty Smalls and Kacee Carslile interfered and hit Royal with a chain and he and Big Tony along with Timmy Danger attack Royal aftwer the match as well as Head of Security Dean Williams. Mike Vaughn comes out to make the save and accepts Shorty Smalls open invitational challenge for later in the show.

The Pharoh d. “Revolution” Chris Dramin by submission as he continues to be a force in SAW. Pharoh is climbing up the rankings in SAW quickly. Pharoh looks to be more intense in the ring than he has ever been.

INTERMISSION (Yes we had a 10 minute intermission)

“The Vindicator” Mike Vaughn d. Shorty Smalls w/ Kacee Carslile and Big Tony after Robert Royal ran in to nail Shorty with the chain as the ref was out. Great match between these 2 as Hopewell’s own Vaughn scored a victory over the great Shorty Smalls. Good back and forth contest between these 2. I am sure we may see more matches between these 2 in the future.

Hopewell’s own Quickstyle d. “The Unholy” Grail (substituting for the injured Jeff Early) in one of the most action packed matches of the night. This match may be the best these 2 have had yet as their encounters have been nothing short of great. Both guys went all out but in the end it was Quickstyle with the win in his SAW debut.

IN THE MAIN EVENT: In Their First Ever Meeting:
VCW Tag Team Champions THE HALL TWINS (James and Ross Hall) d. RLL Tag Team Champions TOTALLY AWESOME (El Sucio and Kamikaze Kid) in a tremendous action packed tag team contest and one of the most anticipated tag team matchups fans had been wanting to see. Both teams went all out for this one and without a doubt, both teams will be meeting again here in SAW or in the Mid Atlantic area. I will hope to have a more detailed report on this match in the next few days and will pass it along.

Estimated Attendance: 250 to 300

Overall Notes: This show proved to be more motivational for the guys as the crowd was really hot for this event. SAW will be returning there later this year and as soon as we have a confirmed date, we will announce it to you fans.

We definitely want to wish our best to Jeff Early as he goes too see an orthopedic surgeon Monday morning to correct his hand that got hurt, most likely he is going to need surgery. Jeff is going to still be part of SAW once he returns off of this setback. We all here at SAW wish nothing but a speedy recovery to Jeff Early

Matter of Respect Results
July 15th, 2006

AWA CWF Mid Atlantic and Highspots commentator the hated
Brad Stutts interrupts the beginning of the show and talks about how SAW so desperately needed his services and now that he is here, he is here to make the fans lives a living heel. He them brings out the host for the evening Spencer Chesnutt who properly opens the show.

Shorty Smalls took the victory in the opener over with Chris Dramin after he put his feet on the ropes to gain the 3 count

Timmy Danger along with Alexandra Sinclair made their way to the ring. Sinclair leased the services of "The Silcilian Wrecking Machine" Big Tony to Danger for one night. Timmy Danger challenged anyone from the back to come out and Valek made his SAW debut.
Valek got the win out of no where in 3 minutes after taking a tremendous beating from Big Tony. Furiuos at what happened Alexdra Sincliar went on a tirade and fired Big Tony after the match then stormed out of the ring. Is this the last of Alexandra Sinclair in SAW or will she return with a new wrestler to manage in SAW??

6 man tag team action seen Totally Awesome and Grail team up to defeat the team of The New Urban Militia and Jeff Early that seen some really good action form all 6 members but in the end Grail pinned Early to pick up the victory for his team. Alot of good action in this match and we hope to see more of that in the long run.

Pharoh and the debuting Otto Schwanz battled to a no contest in a really intense match. This match had a lot fo action inside and outside the ring and I am sure this feud is far from over. Both guys really took it to one another in this contest so I am sure these 2 will hook it up once again in SAW.

AWA World Champion "The 1st" Ric Converse made his appearance in a interview that saw interruptions from Phil Brown, Q Sic, and Damien Wayne w/Kameo. Q Sic confronted Phil Brown about being arrogant and ducking him for 6 months and how his attitude has changed since being on WWE TV. Ric put over the fact he was not there to confront Phil or Q Sic but there to confront the talk of the Mid Atlantic "Mr. Mid Atlantic" Damien Wayne. Wayne told him he can not be the best till he beats him and demanded a title shot which brought out interim Commissioner William Cross (CWF Mid Atlantic Commissioner). He made the decision to let the fans get what they want to see and made the main event change to Ric Converse taking on Damien Wayne and made Phil Brown take on Q Sic for later that night.

Joey Silvia picked up the victory over Kazi (Kamikaze Kid of CWF Mid Atlantic) in a really exciting matchup between both performers. Both guys went all out for this encounter and is easily the match of the night. In the end though it was "G'd Up" Joey Silvia who picked up the victory. We hope to see these 2 lock up once again in SAW.

The Gentlemens Club w/Neil Sharkey won in timely fashion over Attitude Inc. after Royal submitted to a grapevine shoulder submission that has put Royal on the shelf for a week with a sprained shoulder. This victory gave The Gentlemen's Club the #1 seeding in the SAW Tag Team Title Tournament. Attitude Inc will have to do some serious rebounding from this loss.

Timber and Gluteus Maximus battled to a wild double countout despite the fact the Timber got busted open by the ringside stairs early on in the contest. Both guys gave it their all and there is no way this war is over yet in SAW. Timber is said to be doing fine and will be back in action really soon. We here at SAW wish Timber a speedy recovery from this incident. This feud is far from being settled and we are sure we will see this once again in SAW.

"Mr. T.V" Phil Brown scored a cheap victory over Q Sic and goes to show Phil will go to any means for victory. Q Sic is looking for a rematch and will get it very soon. Q Sic looks at this as a minor setback and is out to gain revenge on Phil for this.

In The Main Event and one of the most highly talked about matchups in quite some time........AWA World Champion "The 1st" Ric Converse scored the victory over "Mr. Mid Atlantic" Damien Wayne in a match that seen both combatants give it thier very all. Great back and forth action between these 2 throughout the match. It was definitely a matter of respect when it come down to the very end but it was Converse who scored to pinfall and is now 1-0 vs. Damine Wayne. We have to applaud Damien Wayne for a hard fought match as well as Converse. I think a AWA World Title match will be in the making very soon between these 2. I hear that a few promoters are wanting this matchup so it looks like a new highly talked about feud is about to be born in the Mid Atlantic. Where will these 2 do battle next? CWF Mid Atlantic, NWA Virginia, VCW, Pro Wrestling Mid Atlantic, or will SAW get another contest with these 2??? Stay Tuned
