This time we make the return home to Louisa, Virginia to present this years edition of SUMMER BLAST. With this close to one year off, a lot of things had to change within our organization to make this work. Members have had thier personal problems to deal with, I know I did and things were just not right. I guess we should say the moon was not aligning with the stars for that trip. It took a good friend to talk me into doing this again and I hope this will be one memorable ride for all of us involved this time. I am sure our fans want to know what we have in store for June 28th so I will give a little bit on this great event.
On June 28th will mark the final appearance in Virginia with all 3 members of the Orginial Midnight Express
Local band GRINDIN' GEARS will be there on June 28th to open the festivites for SUMMER BLAST.
SO BRING OUT THE FAMILY FOR A FUN FILLED NIGHT OF LIVE MUSIC.....FOOD....AND LIVE SOUTH ATLANTIC WRESTLING!!!!
South Atlantic Wrestling is happy to make it official that we have made agreements with numerous promotions in the Mid Atlantic and Southern part of the independent wrestling circuit to showcase talent and champions from
their organizations starting in June for the re launch.
We want to thank everyone for agreeing to work together on the initial concept of "The Bunkhouse Stampede" deal. This is also part of the open door policy deal.
The initial concept of the "Open Door Policy" was made famous back in the days of World Class Championship Wrestling in Texas. They extended
their invitation to any promotion out there to send in talent from all around which escaladed to the famous "Kerry Von Erich vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler" feud that went down shortly after the policy took effect.
With this venture will also make the South Atlantic Wrestling Heavyweight Title tournament (scheduled for possibly the fall of 2008) very interesting as
representatives from all the companies will have participants in the prestigious tournament. We are looking too make a impact with this tournament and we are sure the fans will be really happy with the product.
In the next couple of weeks we will have announcements as to who is going to be working along side of South Atlantic Wrestling for 2008. So please keep checking back for updates.

Due to South Atlantic Wrestling taking the hiatus, NWA Southern Pro Wrestling hosted this years Bunkhouse Stampede once again in Ahoskie, NC with Q Sic eliminating "The Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez to win the famous Bronze Boot. Q Sic will be defending that prize come later this year. We would like to congradulate Q Sic on his hard earned victory for the boot.

as Jim Cornette will bring his squad of "Loverboy" Dennis and "Beautiful" Bobby back to the stae of Virginia to do battle with a man and his squad that have been calling out The Midnight Express for a long time. The guys calling them out are "The Manager of Champions" Neil Sharkey and his team of The Old School Empire ("Mr. Mid Atlantic" Damien Wayne and "Big Time" Mike Booth). They have been wanting a piece of Cornette and The Express for the last couple of years. Well now the time has come and on June 28th, it all comes to a head as finally Jim Cornette will settle the score with Neil Sharkey on who is the best manager around and The Midnight Express will settle the score with The Old School Empire on who the best tag team is in the Mid Atlantic area.
Also on June 28th, word has come into SAW that a up and coming valet will be making her way to Louisa to come face to face with the orginal WWE Diva Tammy "Sunny" Sytch. This will be a encounter for no one to miss as this marks the first time these 2 come face to face. This is an encounter the fans will be wondering about and we are going to bring it to you. What will happen when these 2 finally come face to face. Well be there on June 28th to find out.
This is a great up and coming band as they play a mixture of southern rock and todays rock. This event has the markings of the old Great American Bash deals back in the 1980s when David Alan Coe opened up for the NWA. Now we are bringing the tradition back and making SUMMER BLAST an event to remember as GRINDIN' GEARS will be rocking the house from 6 to 7 PM.
South Atlantic Wrestling is glad to announce the FINALS for the Bunkhouse Stampede will take place in late 2008 as part of the re launch process and the open door policy we have in effect.
